RYAN FC GIRLS
Ryan FC Wildcats provide a fun, friendly and safe environment where girls aged 5-11 can experience football for the first time, develop the skills they have and play competitive football by joining a team.
Sessions: Saturday: 9 - 10am
Match Day Centres
Wadham Lodge Sports Ground, Kitchener Rd, London E17 4LL
What happens in our Wildcats session?
Sessions last for an hour and focus on developing your child’s fundamental movement skills – agility, balance coordination and speed – required not only for football but for all sports.
Girls will learn new football skills, make brilliant friendships and have fun together.
Each session kicks off with a team talk, introducing any children who are new to Wildcats and explaining what the session will involve.
Then it’s time for the fun to begin with football skills incorporated into themed games and activities.
How will my daughter be looked after during the session?
All sessions are delivered by FA-qualified coaches who are fully trained in health and safety, safeguarding and more.
What should my daughter wear?
We recommend that girls wear comfortable sportswear and closed-toe shoes. If she’s a budding goalkeeper, we recommend packing her a pair of gloves.
Does my daughter need to bring anything?
We provide all the equipment for the activities, so no need to send your daughter with anything other than water, lots of energy and a smile!
Can I come along to watch during the session?
Yes, absolutely. Parents, carers and siblings are encouraged to stay, watch and even get involved!
How much does a Wildcats session cost?
One of the main aims of Wildcats is to be affordable and accessible for all girls. For this reason, Wildcats operates on a flexible pay-per-play basis. This means there is a cost of £5 per session to cover the costs of the coach and venue for each session your child attends. The first session is free.
Do you have teams and do competitive football?
We are now recruiting players (5-11) to play competitive football, in teams and in regular festive tournaments.
Can I get involved?
Definitely, we are always looking for enthusiastic parents, carers and others to get involved and support girls football. This can be in coaching, supporting the running of the sessions or marketing. We have teamed up with the FA to provide training and workshops to support this.
Please don’t hesitate to get in contact for more details.
